Laetitia Casta was born in Pont-Audemer May 17, 1978 to a Corsican father and a Norman mother. She is the middle child to father Dominique and mother Line. Her childhood was spent in Normandy's countryside playing in the rivers and the woods with her older brother. Back then, she was such a tomboy that she was often mistaken for a little boy.It is during holidays in Corsica she was noticed by the photographer of a large agency. The agency undertakes the young Laetitia Madison and she began her modeling career in grand fashion for scrolling or ask for a magazine. Girl in cautious and aware that the modeling career is short, Laetitia turned to film in 1999 by turning in "Asterix and Obelix Against Caesar" alongside Depardieu and Clavier.

When she was fifteen, she was discovered while vacationing with her family on a beach in Corsica, also named "the island of beauty" in France.
She was making sand castles with her little sister when a photographer and model booke r for 'Madison Models' agency approached her.
With a talent recognized by all as an actress, Laetitia also turns to TV in "The Blue Bicycle". In 2001 after the filming of "Les Ames Fortes", she pauses to give birth to her daughter Sahteene (The father is Stephen Sednoui). Laetitia then takes the path of the plates but also launches a new challenge in 2004: playing in a theater piece (Ondine) directed by Jacques Weber. Thus, Laetitia proves she is not a girl to flawless plastic but a young woman full of talent who does not hesitate to take risks for us to demonstrate. It marks a new break in 2006 to give birth to a second child (whose father is Orlando Stefano Accorsi with Laetitia who shares his life since 2003) and then again into the studio in 2007 playing the lead role in "The Girl And The Wolves ". By 1993, Laetitia signed a contract with GUESS clothing. From 1997-2000, she appeared in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and was one of the company’s signature Angels from 1998 to 2000. In her career, Casta has been the official face of L’Oréal, Dior, and Chanel. Happy and healthy, she currently lives in Paris with her mother, father, older brother and younger sister. When her hectic schedule allows, Laetitia enjoys car racing with her friends, traveling, cooking with her mum and spending time with her younger sister. Laetitia also has a brown belt in Judo, she feels that it helps her in her modeling career to have control.
