Salman Khan is known as the macho man of Bollywood. Whether it's a romantic film, comedy or action he has done all his roles with ease. We call him Salman Khan in Bollywood.

He has had relationships with a number of females in the past, which include Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali, Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif.
His relationship with Aishwarya Rai is the most talked about. After their break-up in March 2002, Aishwarya accused him of harassing her.
He has been dating model-turned-actress Katrina Kaif since 2003. Eventually even they broke up for some personal reasons. Currently they are just good friends.
He was well appreciated by the WHO for presenting the problems of an AIDS patient through his film Phir Milenge where he played a role of an AIDS patient in 2004. His work was noticed internationally in this film.He played comedy role in many films with Govinda, Sanjay Dutta in the films viz Partner, Jodi No.1 etc.

About Salman Khan:
Salman Khan is well known Person across the globe. His recent releases made him prove that age is not a barrier. Often known as Bollywood’s “bad boy,” for his continuously walking into the troubles. But many-a-man claims that he has a pure heart. He is popularly known as Sallu Bhai, bhaijan, Macho man ,Sylvester Stallone of India etc.
Salman Khan is the blood of a screen writer Salim Khan of the famous Jodi Salim-Javed (Properly from Afghanistan) and a Marathi Hindu(Sushila Charak) Salma Khan. He opened his eyes on 27th December,1965. He is the eldest among his two brothers(Arbaaz Khan & Sohail Khan) and two sisters(Alvira & Arpita). His love to his family doesn’t need any explanation. His stepmother Helen, the famous dancer also co-starred with him.
When asked on his childhood problems and his father’s second marriage to Helen, he replies,” It was very difficult in the beginning, when everybody was talking about it. My mother just couldn’t take it. It hurt her terribly. She used to worry all the time, go in to depression frequently. When she cried, we children used to cry with her.”
He finished his schooling through St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai, as did his younger brothers Arbaaz and Sohail. Earlier, he studied at The Scindia School, Gwalior for a few years along with younger brother Arbaaz. During school time, Salman was an excellent swimmer and often tipped for representing country one day.
His brother Arbaaz Khan married a model cum actress Malaika Arora, and his sister Alvira is married to actor- director Atul Agnihotri. He has 4 nephews, Aydan, Arhaan, Nirvaan, Aslam, and 1 niece, Alizeh.
Controversy:
In September 2002, he was arrested for rash and negligent driving. This was when his car rammed into a Mumbai bakery, killing one person and injuring three. Though the charge of culpable homicide was later dropped, he is still in trial for lesser charges related to the accident. In 2006, he was convicted for hunting the endangered 'Chinkara', during the shoot of film 'Hum Saath Saath Hai'. Later, he was granted bail by the police. His affair as well as break-up with Aishwarya was much publicized and she also accused him of harassing her.
The party of Katrina's birthday, keyed to a heat up argument between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. This famous party lead to a physical fight between the two but Gauri just interrupted in time and said she wanted to leave. Both Shah Rukh and Gauri left the party.
